Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chili flakes. Set aside.
Step 3: Assemble the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the risen dough into a circle on a floured surface.
Spread half of the garlic butter evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese in the center, leaving about an inch around the edges.
Fold the dough over the cheese, sealing the edges tightly to create a stuffed bread.
Step 4: Bake the Bread
Place the stuffed dough on a baking sheet or pan.
Brush the remaining garlic butter on top and sprinkle with Parmesan, oregano, and sesame seeds if using.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Step 5: Slice and Serve
Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing into strips or wedges.
Serve warm with marinara sauce or enjoy on its own!
