Eggnog Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup eggnog
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons rum (or 1 teaspoon rum extract)
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Crust:
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter.
    • Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
    • Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and let cool.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and flour until smooth.
    • Mix in eggnog and rum (or rum extract), blending well.
    • Add eggs and mix just until blended. Don’t overmix.
    • Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the center is just set.
    • To prevent the top from cracking, you can place a pan of water in the oven during baking.
  4. Cool and Chill:
